"The audacity of sending a letter to a grieving family to tell them youโd be interested in buying their house. Despicable."
"It is my immense pleasure to recommend Dana Washington of Property Buyers Pittsburgh (and team) as a real estate investor for any individual or family searching for the ideal home or trying to sell their home for their unique situation. Dana and I had an initial meeting and he took diligent notes regarding my specific needs. A master with the contract negotiations, Dana and team came up with a deal that was good for myself and made the buyer happy as well. I found Dana to be highly attentive, he returned all phone calls and emails the same day. I never felt neglected or unimportant. He is also highly personable with an engaging personality. Dana was honest about some minor changes that I needed to make to my house to attract buyers quickly, and his advice worked like a charm. I am pleased to recommend Dana Washington of Property Buyers Pittsburgh to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. He and his team are hands down one of the best in the business in my opinion, and if I ever need to move again he will be my first choice in real estate investors."
"The team at Property Buyers Pittsburgh have been nothing short of amazing as I'm looking to purchase my first investment property. The education, one on one support, knowledge of the market, and professionalism at all levels has exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them for any of your real estate needs."
"TLDR version: Lied about contracts on house, did not obtain permits on remodel of house, suspect they intentionally hid sewage issues with house. Be careful when buying property if this company was in charge of the flip. Before I go into the details, this was my first property I purchased and I have learned from my mistakes. When doing my second walk through of the property, which is a triplex, I noticed the washer/dryer were coin operated and asked if I can get rid of those when I move in. They said yes I can get rid of them because they are not under contract. Fast forward a couple months after the sale, I buy my own machines and call up the rental company to come take the coin operated ones out. They tell me it costs $5000 to break the contract and the contract transferred with the sale of the house. I e-mail Property Buyers Pittsburgh about this and first they told me to just not pay the machine company anything because they don't have a legal foot to stand on to collect their money. I should have known the kind of people I was dealing with once they sent that. I then told them I want the machines out and they said to give them until November and they will come get the machines. December rolls around and still no one has come for the machines. I email them again and they say they are not coming for the machines and they will not pay to break the contract. After I bought the house, I contacted the inspector who did the home inspection to ask some questions about the inspection. While they were researching this for me, they found out that Property Buyers Pittsburgh did not take out any permits for the remodel. Of course most of the remodel was done quickly and now issues with foundation, the electric and general function of the house are being discovered. A month after I moved into the house, I had a major plumbing issue. A $20,000 repair where they had to replace all of the pipes. The kicker is they showed me a bunch of examples where they think the seller knew issues were there but tried to cover them up with a cheap fix or cover them up completely most likely until the property was sold. If you are buying a property from this shady company, make sure you inspect every crack or better yet, just stay away."
