"If I could only give a fraction of a star that is what I would do for corporate procedures. A family member passed away and 2 months later his bills were thrown into collections. We have yet to receive a bill from the hospital to see if any payments were made from either insurance coverage. And yet they throw it into collections. I am amazed that this corporation has the balls to do that. And yet the doctors and nurses that we dealt with were all terrific. No complaints on them, only the corporate end of UPMC and how cold and callous they are."

Can't say much more for AHN but at least they will see me with my work insurance and understand a portion gets adjusted and asks no money in advance. Not UPMC. They feel since we have no network and won't sign one of their sneaky ripoff contracts they want $200 paid up front per Visit. "Impossible to contact a patient advocate...every phone number leads in circles, or results in a referral to a phone number that just says the same thing and offers the same options as the previous call. UPMC is a mess of massive proportions. I wish i could leave a zero star rating..."
