"ZERO stars. THIS man should NOT have a license to "practice medicine"! Extremely rude, arrogant, insensitive and disrespectful. After a rapid and severe decline in my health, in which I could barely walk, gained 60 lbs on my small frame, hair falling out by handfulls, pain in neck and throat, swallowing problems, unable to hold things without dropping (age 48) and SEVERE fatigue and body weakness, "Dr" McMichael, lll showed ZERO interest in my well tracked symptoms, and suggested I "take TYLENOL and needed a psychiatric evaluation"! This with no previous visits, no lab work, no questions; Sayng "Nothing's wrong with you." When I said, "But I feel like I'm actually DYING." He said, "I guarantee you're NOT dying." Does this man have supernatural powers??? When I responded in obvious disbelief and said I find it quite an insult to my intelligence to "prescribe" NSAIDS and Psychyatrist with no testing, he was INDIGNANT and told me I could not be his patient (I assured him I agreed) then he FORBADE me to switch Dr.s within the practice, dismissed me with a VERY limited blood test result to "PROVE " nothing was wrong with me. 2 days later, and 2 doors down, Dr. Degiovanni and her PA, Kelly saved my life. In-depth labwork showed elevated ANAs and thyroid levels off. Ultrasound found thyroid tumors. Endocrinologist was prepping me for full thyroidectomy within a week of biopsy. Same week was told by opthmologist I had Sjogren disease (comorbid to Thyroid probs). I KNEW IT! Dr. McMichael lll would do well to RESPECT and LISTEN to his patients. He should also count his blessings that I was so weak and beaten down from my health crisis that I had no strength to get a lawyer. However, as I felt close to death, I did tell my kids, "If anything happens to me, hold McMichael completely resonsible!" Don't risk your health or your LIFE. Find a real Doctor!"
