Our team, led by Dr. David Csonka, Dr. Susan Csonka, and Dr. Jeff Dreier, brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to eye care.

Meet Our Team:

Dr. David J. Csonka:

Born and raised in western Pennsylvania, Dr. David Csonka has a long-standing commitment to his community. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Chemistry from Allegheny College, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honorary society. He earned his optometric degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University) in 1981 and was elected into the Beta Sigma Kappa optometric honor society. Dr. David is an active member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and the Sports Vision Section of the AOA. Outside the office, he enjoys landscaping, gardening, golf, woodworking, exercising, and hunting. Dr. David is also an Eagle Scout and dedicates his time to various community service activities, including the Appalachia Home Repair Program and medical missions in Honduras.

Dr. Susan Csonka:

Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Susan Csonka received her Doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1981. She has been instrumental in community outreach, conducting school screenings and participating in medical missions. Dr. Susan shares a passion for providing excellent eye care and community service with her husband, Dr. David. She enjoys gardening, skiing, reading, and attending baseball games in her free time. Dr. Susan is also a member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and the Sports Vision Section of the AOA.

Dr. Jeff Dreier:

Dr. Jeff Dreier, a native of North Hills, Pittsburgh, graduated with a BS in Biology from Grove City College and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2007. He has extensive experience from internships in diverse settings, including the Browning Community Hospital in Montana, Draisin Vision Group in South Carolina, and Laurel Eye Clinic in Pennsylvania. Dr. Jeff brings over 15 years of private practice experience to Csonka Optometric.
