"I recently bought a pair of sunglasses at the free-standing location with Lindsay's help and I couldn't be more grateful for her. She offered honest opinions about my selections, checked the prices, and chatted with my husband and I about general life stuff. The pair that I bought was perfect, but I had buyer's remorse a few days later because they were so similar to my current pair. So I trudged back to the mall and Lindsay was working at the Macy's location. She, once again, helped me find and pick a good pair and was as friendly as ever. While I was there, several folks walked through or past us and she knew them all. I love kind, well-spoken, helpful people and Lindsay is that."

"Sales associate was EXTREMELY pushy. Came in looking for a pair of designer glasses- she was helpful at first, i’ll give her that. However, after expressing numerous times that I would just like to look around, she came over every 5 minutes or so saying things like “So have you made a decision yet?” “What’s it going to be?” I felt very rushed and pressured, not the experience i want when making a $300+ sunglass purchase. After deciding upon a pair of Burberrys, I brought them to the counter and was offered an extended warranty, to which I declined. This was responded to by the sales associate with a snarky “Are you sure about that?” At this point, i was very uncomfortable. The icing on the cake was whenever my glasses were rang in at a price $24 higher than listed on the sticker. I asked the sales associate and she said “It must be an old price on the sticker”, and refused to match the advertised price or acknowledge her store’s error. This was literal false advertising. After expressing my disappointment, the associate did not apologize or offer to make amends for the falsity in price- she rudely said “it’s only like $8.” Actually, it’s not “only $8”- it was $24. And it’s the premise of false advertising, up-selling, and being extremely pushy on someone spending hundreds of dollars for a designer item that caused me to walk out- not the $24 price difference. Safe to say that I went downstairs to Burberry and bought a better pair of glasses, and was treated with the upmost respect; all while not being upsold or pressured. This store lost a $300+ sale due to a lack of customer service and shady business practice of having misleading price stickers on their sunglasses. Not to mention, their designer glasses are out on open shelves and children were playing with them and trying them on- not something that should be happening with $500-$600 glasses being sold as-is, STRAIGHT FROM THE SHELVES, to customers. Save yourself the energy and go downstairs to Gucci or Burberry where you can find glasses that are new, never worn or touched by children, and be treated with respect while you make a luxury purchase. I have bought from sunglass hut at other locations and have always had great experiences- Ross Park is not the case. Stay far away!"
