"I absolutely love my clinic, from the doctors, to the staff, down to the other patients that you end up developing relationships with because it is so organized and you see the same people over and over again each week so you get a chance to have contact with people you know are going through similar lifestyles and similar recoverys which helps you from thinking your the only one out there in the world going through these same trials and tribulations as you yourself are going through! I have been with them coming up in June three years and I have had the most positive experience with each and every visit that I have encountered since I started there in 2014 and I would have no problem at all referring anyone that is in need of help and searching for a way to have a promising future ahead of them!!! You will never feel like you are being judged and the other thing I love about them is each and every patient is treated the same as the person sitting next to you, not mattering why you are there or what your drug of choice may have been in the past, because one things for sure and two for certain everyone involved has the same positive plan for all of our futures!!!"

"I've been going to A&R since shortly after it opened. It took awhile for them to work out their new business glitches, but even through some minor problems and annoyances here and there there was one thing that was a constant. They cared. Through the last several years there have been constant changes; changes in staff, changes in policies, changes in Doctors. Through all of those changes I never had a bad thing to say about the place and was quick to recommend it to anyone in need of help. Over the last several months, however, things have begun to change drastically. They started cutting corners. First they got rid of their group therapy and now instead have their patients seek out their own Licenced Therapist and see them at least twice a month in order to continue to be seen by their Doctor. They stopped doing routine health checks and updates on progress, such as taking blood pressure and weight, as well as routine questions about other medications you may take and any urges to use, or relapses you may have had. It was easy to see that the care that they once had was changing into nothing more than dollar signs for them. The worst of it though was at my last appointment. I arrived to find a sign on the door saying nothing more than 'A&R Health Services has moved', no address, no phone call to warn me, nothing. When I attempted to call overt and over again, no one answered. Thankfully the security guard at the lobby desk had their new address which was pretty far from Downtown- in East Liberty. It took forever to find the place, as there is no sign aside of that of the Dentist's office that they now share a building with, and some chicken scratch on a piece of paper taped on the door which is impossible to see from the sidewalk. As if I wasn't already frustrated and annoyed at all of the days events, it only got worse from there. The place was disgusting, dirty, patients nodding out in the tiny and smelly waiting room. When I was called up to the front desk I was asked for my copay, which I have never had. Come to find out that they have stopped taking my insurance and now would have to pay for my appointments. Did anyone call to tell me this? No. On top of that, I came to find out that they knew they would be dropping my insurance for months and didn't warn anyone. Even when I went in to see my normally nice Doctor it was a bad experience, He starts insisting that I taper myself down, whereas before he was an advocate for leaving when to taper up to the patient. The whole time I was there I felt like I was in a crack den. It was a terrible experience, and after almost 5 years with them I can say without a doubt that I will be looking for a new Clinic."
