"Required a moving out fee. Now I'm in collections. I hope they got their money when they sold my debt. Also I was never contacted about my "delinquency", I was under the impression that I had paid my last bill with them. EDIT If you would like to ask Keith, maybe he can explain what "moving out fee" encompasses. I would like to know as well. As for the general wear and tear that comes with renting, I had been in that apartment longer than you have owned it, I have children, and it may have looked "lived in" when I left it but how dare you say I left it filthy when the whole family worked to remove all our belongings, vacuum, wipe down and otherwise spruce up that outdated apartment. But that's your opinion. My opinion is that you went shopping to renovate and sent me a bill for what my deposit did not cover. Maybe Lastly do you think your 3 attempts to contact me fell short of the mark? Did you read that I wrote I was not contacted about said delinquency? There is truth to the fact that I was blindsided by collections when no attempt to contact me was made. I left my number and new address. P. S. Anyone still reading and interested MT Union apartments is apparently 420 friendly. Just ask my upstairs neighbor, the guy doing all the car repairs up front."

"The office manager was absolutely TERRIBLE to work with. He is taking money from our security deposit for cleaning that was not necessary. He is claiming that he staff was not in the wrong. The landlord did the walk through and said everything was great now when I call them out because I’m being charged $100 the office manager wants to get nasty with me. Took over 1 week to get my maintenance issues fixed. Sink was backing up because other apartments put grease down the drain and I had to suffer with a 4 month old baby and was out a kitchen sink for 1 week. I would NOT recommend this company!"

"Very professional company, no issues when I lived in their apartments. JoEllen was friendly and easy to communicate with for any questions or concerns. Maintenance issues were handled promptly and Neal, the maintenance person who responded for my apartment, was always helpful. The only real con was the quality of the rental for the price, however, this is nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to student housing in Oakland."
