About A.J. Conrad Smith, MD:

Dr. A.J. Conrad Smith is a highly esteemed interventional cardiologist, certified in both cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He holds several prominent positions, including Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at UPMC Presbyterian, Associate Chief of Cardiology for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Division of Cardiology, and Medical Director of the Center for Heart Valve Disease. Additionally, Dr. Smith is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Education and Training:

Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He further honed his expertise through an internal medicine residency, cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship at the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital.
