"I had an appointment today with Dr. Seaman after having been in the care of a different rheumatologist for over a decade. From my first step into his office, I could see that the patients were the priority. Even the chairs in the waiting room were designed with us older, arthritics in mind. He suggested ways of moving forward and medication alternatives I had never heard about——despite asking! I look forward to my next appointment. It has now been 2 days since my 1st appointment and I have already had more communication and updates from this office than the last 5 years in old rheumatology office! Very impressed. "I would give this dr zero stars if i could! For more than 20 years i have been suffering from chronic pain. For several years i was on a treatment that helped, until my dr unexpectedly retired. The next dr decided to strip me of my diagnosis and the treatment that was helping. I went on to a 3rd dr who gave me the diagnosis back but refused to treat. Which is what brought me to dr seamans office. Desperate and begging for help! When dr Seaman walked in my first thought was “this pretentious douche bag is not going to help me” and I was right! If you are looking for a dr who is going to hear you, and be a part of the solution, then this provider is not for you! You can tell him flat out the treatment that you know has helped you in the past and he will blow you off as tho he knows your body better than you do! The girl working the front desk was an absolute delight; as was the nurse I saw. The rest of the office staff i found unprofessional. At check out I ended up just leaving with out checking out as there were 3 people standing there laughing and talking about what sounded like personal matters. The delightful check in girl was working the check in counter and another nice lady was busy at her computer and on the phone, while I sat there waiting for someone, anyone to check me out."

"Nobody is perfect that’s why I didn’t give a five star. My first appt was with a nurse partitioner. She was very nice and let me talk about all my problems. She ordered tons of bloodwork and to come back in 3 months. Next appt was with the doctor. He was so helpful and listened to me! Started me on a med to see and I go back in 3 more months. Now, if I have issues he said to message him. So far so good. My digestive system is feeling the best it has in years. I was diagnosed with Psoriatic arthritis. He was the ONLY. Rheumatologist taking new patients unless I wanted to drive to Buffalo, even most of them weren’t taking new patients on. So all in all I’m so thankful I found a guy that listens to me! And some folks are complaining about him stating to look up on internet?!? I thinks that’s great! Doctors don’t want to be challenged but he does by giving websites."

"Went to see this Dr twice, the 2nd time he diagnosed me and told me I needed to be put on Humira and that it would take 4wks to get everything set up. I waited the 4 wks and didn’t hear anything back so I called on a Friday with the nurse telling me that the Dr had never even sent the prescription to thru to the pharmacy, she said she would check into things and call me back by the end of the day or on Monday morning. Monday morning comes and no call, finally I call them at 2pm and was given the run around by a different nurse who said the nurse I spoke to on Friday had left her a note to get things started. Now I will have to wait another 4-6wks for the process to be completed but the Dr claimed I needed to start this prescription ASAP to slow or stop the damage! Plus the nurse gave me an attitude when I questioned how long will I have to wait this time! Now if this Dr was so concerned why is it he NEVER sent the prescription thru? This is why people have no faith in the medical community!! This specialist dropped the ball and now I have no faith in him! Yet he has charged my Insurance company and has billed me for what my insurance company didn’t pay! This Dr needs to either get it together or get out of business! With Dr’s like this treating people it’s no wonder why people don’t want to go to doctors or pay their bills!! Plus while I was in with the Dr the 2nd time he just gave me a website to go to and said this will explain everything about my condition, didn’t want to take the time to really explain to me what it really was!!"
