"Great location! Lots of cafes, book stores, and cool stores in the area. Room was super clean and private, but if you're a tall person (for context I'm 5'3) and I fit perfectly in the bed with no space to spare, then this might be an issue for you. It was also not that loud considering there's open airspace in the rooms and there's like 30+ "rooms" on each floor. There's also a women only floor that i think you can request if that's what you prefer."
"Mixed bag of a hostel where your experience will mostly depend on whoever else is there at the moment. Rather than traditional bunkbeds you get your own pod in one large floor. Sound carries pretty easily. I'm 6' and had a snug fit on the bed. Temperature was doable for me but this was during the latest heatwave. Staff is great although the check in procedure is a little funky. Was also a big fan of the jazz night and common areas. Overall an okay deal for the price."
"Rooms are typically smaller, they could use more hooks and shelves. There is no shelf for cell charging and only one outlet that's very old. The bed is suitable for thinner bodies. It's a twin size. I found the sitting rooms to be stunningly decorated to match a certain time era. One block away from Whole foods, are to store food in cupboards or fridge space. The front desk may not always be there but there is check in available through email, do that first before you arrive. Seamless check in process. Lots of shopping in the nearby area. Lots of food options. I enjoyed this option more than the regular hostel with shared rooms. Not far from everywhere in downtown."
"Had a great experience as a female solo traveler! The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. You get your own key to your room which is very convenient and everything is pretty clean. Rooms are smaller than I expected and they can be a bit colder at night, but in general I had a lovely experience. Will be staying again! ☺️"
"Really friendly front desk, location is amazing! They just opened so there weren’t that many people staying. It was very quiet which I loved. I am 5”3/160cm, so not that tall but bed was too short so I slept with my feet hanging off the bed. If you are on a budget, a great place to be!"
