"I have lived in bakery living for 8 years. It’s excellent in terms of location and proximity to cool restaurants, gyms and stores, however, the quality of the apartments does not justify the high rent. I have had to deal with recurring bathroom ceiling leaks ( four times in six months) with the roof almost collapsing in my tub, every time the tub above my unit was in use. It took them anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months to get it repaired and painted each time. Since I work a very demanding job in healthcare, I had no option but to wait patiently for the repairs, while living with a leaking ceiling for months and to take showers at my workplace or at a friends. Despite all this, I was charged $62 for a small patch on the wall paint and some lint in my washer when I moved out!!! I guess that’s the price I pay for being a nice tenant for 8 long years. Thank you bakery living."
"If they can charge 100 dollars on this, think of what they could charge you when you move out! I recently moved out and was shocked by the excessive charges deducted from my security deposit. The management seems to find any excuse to levy additional fees. Be very cautious and make sure to document everything when you move in and out. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone looking for a fair and transparent rental experience."
"Most horrible management I have ever seen. Rented an apartment with rent shown on their website & rent cafe as $1765 and they got back to me saying it is a systematic glitch and the new price is $2400 LOL. They basically forced me to go with the new price or leave. Whats worse, they took my $200 application fee and I am still chasing them to get that refund for this craziness. It’s been more than 2 weeks. A wannabe luxury apt with cheap materials (check out Reddit for more info on this) & irresponsible management. They want someone that can afford 2.4k rent a month but the property itself is so stingy to hold an applicant’s $200 for their own mistake. Joke of the month. Edit: They still DIDNOT refund me. I received no response from the email I sent on May. 21st. Mind you I paid for the application fee on May. 7th. And I informed them about the price accuracy, not them finding it out themselves. I have reported this whole case with all the proof to BBB as well so yall can check it out."
"Best apartment complex in Pittsburgh! The amenities are amazing, staff are friendly, management hosts multiple social events for residents every month (with free food and drink!), and maintenance always responds within 24 hours. Rent is on the pricier end of the market in Pittsburgh, but it's still DIRT CHEAP compared to apartments of similar size and luxury in other cities like New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, or Boston."
