"Knowing I wanted us and our families to enjoy our day, hiring a day of coordinator was a no-brainer. I also wanted help in narrowing down vendors and getting some guidance along the way for any questions that I knew would come up. This all made Day of Pittsburgh the perfect choice for our wedding. From our initial meeting to our final check-in, everyone that we worked with was so professional, organized, supportive, and most importantly, down to earth! It was always a joy to chat with Heather, Ashley, and Allison. They are just the best gals! Throughout the process, we received helpful checklists, along with due dates to help us stay on track - which was necessary for a procrastinator like me! On the day, everything went off without a hitch, at least to my knowledge, which is exactly how it should be! Being the one who usually does everything myself, it was so hard to let everything go, but I had complete faith in my Day of Pgh team to execute the vision. At our reception, all of my DIY projects were placed beautifully - I couldn’t have done it better myself! It was such a relief to let these things go and just enjoy the day. My husband and I opted for day-of coordination instead of full planning services, so that we could select and secure our own vendors and get the help we needed in bringing our whole vision together. I am someone that takes on too much and tries to do it all myself, and it’s rare that someone can stay one step ahead of me, anticipate my needs, and show up and follow through like this company did. Heather and Lindsey met with us several times leading up to our event to understand us as a couple, our vision, and every little special detail. Heather dropped everything to come to our rehearsal and painstakingly time my bridesmaid entrance to Satellite by Harry Styles over and over until we got it right. When I think about Lindsey the day of our weddings, it brings me to tears. I didn’t have to think about a single thing except having the time of my life with my husband, friends, and family. She kept the events tight to schedule and smooth and took any curve ball that came her way. She helped bustle my dress, she brought my husband and I a snack and a drink.
