About the Business
Hope Haven Farm Sanctuary is a haven for farm animals in need, located at 2506 Wexford Bayne Road in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. For the past 11 years, we have provided refuge, rehabilitation, and a forever home to animals in need. Recently, we purchased a second property in Harmony, marking a significant milestone in our journey. This expansion allows us to rescue more animals and spread our message of compassion and care even further.
At our new property, we focus on not only honoring our rescued animals but also promoting environmental consciousness and stewardship. Through sustainable practices such as solar energy use and recycling, we aim to minimize our carbon footprint and protect the planet. Additionally, we offer educational programs and community involvement opportunities centered around gardening, permaculture, and sustainable living practices.
We invite interested individuals to volunteer at the farm, with a commitment of two shifts per month. Volunteer opportunities are generally available on weekdays in the later afternoons. If you are unable to make a long-term commitment, we also have monthly "open" volunteer days where you can help out for a few hours with no further obligation.
Hope Haven Farm Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing neglected farm animals such as pigs, goats, sheep, llamas, and more. These animals receive comfortable housing, nutritious food, and companionship, as well as love and affection from our dedicated team. We also raise awareness about the plight of animals raised for human use and promote a cruelty-free, plant-based lifestyle.
