Joseph McCormick Construction is a family-owned and operated general contracting company with a rich history dating back to 1896. Located in Erie, PA, we specialize in heavy highway construction with a focus on asphalt paving, excavation, site development, demolition, and sanitary/storm sewer installation.

With generations of experience, we have built new parking lots for clients throughout the region, handling every aspect of the project from drainage and excavation to stone subbase and asphalt paving. Our comprehensive services include patching, structural repairs, and resurfacing, allowing us to offer tailored solutions to meet each client's unique needs.

Originally founded by Joseph McCormick as a storm sewer construction company, we expanded into general construction and concrete work. In 1953, we acquired an asphalt plant and shifted our focus to asphalt contracting, solidifying our reputation as a premier asphalt paving contractor in Northwest Pennsylvania.

Today, under the leadership of Owen McCormick, we continue to grow and prosper, serving various state, county, and city municipalities, as well as numerous commercial developments and local businesses throughout Erie County.
