"If you were looking for an employment I would not choose to work here. they will pick and choose when they want to suspend you because if they don’t have enough people to cover the shift, they ask you to come in or stay late and you do but because you’re a couple minutes late getting to work, but you are still there for report and everything but you still get terminated, but there are other employees there that call off every weekend and still have a job I got suspended because I supposedly helped a resident the floor…. I wasn’t even on that floor and I was considered the only white person on the floor. I’m Hispanic. For a reference for today is May 13th 2024. My scheduled shift is 6 AM to 2 PM. The manager knew that I was being terminated today. They didn’t say anything to me until 30 minutes before my shift was over. There are some coworkers that get a 15 minute lead way, but I never got that opportunity when I was late to work, I would be punching in at 6:06-6:08 6:07. We have to be there by 6:05. They have residents coming in as residential when they are actually personal care attendant residence. I worked on the second floor and there is supposed to be two people on that floor depending on how many resident on the floor there has been multiple times that I ran all four floors by myself because people would not show up to work. I have worked so hard working for this company and they totally suck. I do accept and take the responsibility of me being late to work, but I do not accept the fact that there’s people that still have a job and calls off every weekend that they work"
"Sarah Reed is a great place to work. I began my career here in 2005 as a personal care aide, they provided the opportunity for me to grow in nursing by sending me to obtain my CNA and then assisted with tuition for me to become an RN. I left for a few years to gain hospital experience as a nurse but decided it was time to come back home. My family and I also entrusted Sarah Reed with the care of my grandmother in her last days before her passing in 2018. Everyone was so helpful and compassionate, they showed her love as if she was their grandmother too. My family and I are forever grateful and I’m happy to be part of such a great team!"
"I have been working at Sarah Reed Senior Living for six years. My grandmother was a resident in skilled nursing for a few months before her passing in 2018. I fell in love with the facility and the compassionate care the staff provide to the residents. I started out as a receptionist and I now work as a social worker. I love the interaction I get to have with the residents. I enjoy coming to work every day knowing I get to make a difference as a social worker in long term care."
"A great organization with an awesome staff. Many of their employees have been there for 10, 20, even 30 years. Their facilities are always clean and the employees are attentive and friendly."
"Great place to work and live. I have worked at Sarah Reed Senior Living for over 8 years and believe strongly in the quality of services we offer. I had my own mom here under hospice care before her passing and have had my grandmother, uncle, and other family and friends have stays here for short term rehab following hospitalizations. Sarah Reed offers a continuum of care and provides housing for folks still independent in their own apartment all of the way through long term skilled nursing - memory care."
