"So this review isn't based on the space itself bc it was a good space for events and was maintained well. The issue was that we meticulously swept and mopped up after and left it much cleaner than we found it and they refused to give the deposit back stating it wasn't properly cleaned. The women we dealt with was completely unreasonable and seemed to base keeping the 250$ deposit bc some glitter had been on the tables when we left. We double covered our tables and completely transformed the space for my daughters 16th birthday and it was beautiful. This really cast a shadow over such a magical gatheing! I have owed my own restraunts for over a decade and am quite particularl with how I clean personally. I was in shock that she claimed we owed her the entirety of the deposit bc we didn't mop and she found some paper in a garbage can I had left so as not to be wasteful. I honestly cannot overstate that it was such a small amount I couldn't imagine wasting a bag or being upset by this. I also went beyond just mopping and took all rugs outside and shook them and scrubbed the entrance since it seems it hasn't been done for awhile. Just be aware that this very well may happen if she is the one to check after a party. It was insulting and odd. I always want to support my neighborhood but this behavior and costly unreasonable behavior makes it unlikely we would use this space again."
