"The reason I am giving this venue 1 star is because it was a beautiful setting, everything else was quite difficult. First of all, there were so many rules, most of which were sprung upon us last minute. They were very rude to my mother and Colleen sulked around during my wedding day to the point where I asked her if she was okay. They were very accommodating and open until we paid them, then the rules started pouring in and even more the day before my wedding. They were so overseeing that it was uncomfortable. They also didn't have enough outlets and power for the roasters (they almost refused to let us plug things in). For the money, it definitely wasn't worth it. The only reason I enjoyed my day was because my family did an amazing job at blocking their negativity from me until after. They just seemed like people who weren't willing to actually share their venue and wanted to micromanage. Even my DJ and Photographer had issues with them. It was beautiful but not worth it."

"We were married at Gable Farm on June 2nd, 2017. We had our ceremony and reception at the venue. The event absolutely exceeded our expectations. The staff (i worked directly with Colleen) was amazing and extremely helpful. She was willing to help in any possible way to make sure that the day went off without a hitch. We were able to decorate the venue the afternoon/evening prior and again everyone was super helpful. Communication was extremely easy. We also used the house DJ (Tin Can Entertainment) I can't say enough about Jake and the way he too helped with set up. He provided music for the ceremony and for the reception. The dance floor was always filled with people and he has great energy. Overall, I would suggest this venue for anyone looking for an outdoor/barn wedding and reception. It was worth every penny spent and will be a day we never forget."

"Gable Farm is a beautiful setting! We had our wedding there not even one week ago and it was perfect and the family that runs the barn was a tremendous help! Colleen was amazing, she made everything run smoothly and texted me everyday asking if she could do anything to help! They help set up, and they also did the clean up. And the day of the wedding, Colleen made sure everything went great ! I would definitely recommend this barn to anyone wanting that rustic wedding look. Absolutely beautiful !!! Can not thank them enough !"

"I am not one to leave a review unless I am very happy or very dissatisfied. This place is beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. And was the perfect venue for my cousin's wedding this past weekend. However, I have never been so poorly treated in my life. The "staff" micromanages every aspect of your planning. The owner is extremely condescending and has practically a manual of rules you have to follow. On the day of the wedding, they had a "security guard" (an old man in a fake uniform) patrolling everyone and making sure no one drinks too much according to their standards. We also were informed on the day of the wedding that our 4 industrial sized bottles of Bacardi were "missing". We had dropped off all of the alcohol the night before. So that's quite the mystery as well. For how expensive this venue was, I cannot believe the way that we were treated. It was like we were an inconvenience to them. Just absolutely appalled. For those of you looking for a rustic barn wedding - I suggest looking elsewhere unless you feel like following all kinds of rules and orders on your special day."

"When I think about a country wedding, this is exactly what comes to my mind! I never dreamed my best friend's wedding day would go as smoothly as it did, but that was mostly due to Colleen and her family. My own wedding was full of problems that I had to deal with, but when things came up, Colleen and her sisters took care of things. The barn itself is very clean. I never would have expected that, but the family keeps it up nicely. The property makes for some great pics! As a country girl, I am jealous I didn't have the opportunity to get married in such a great place. Inside, the garden lights create a perfect atmosphere to dance the night away. It's style is a sort of rustic meets elegant. I don't know what more I can possibly say about what a classy place this is. If you're thinking about checking it out, I don't think you will be disappointed!"
