"Has very good bedside manners very knowledgeable this was my first time meeting this doctor and I would definitely recommend him to anyone"
"Dr Kann was very friendly and I was surprised at how he made himself so readily available to answer any questions or concerns post surgery. Made me feel like I was important."
"Dr. Kann was very kind, friendly, courteous and most of all informative. He explained the likely reason for my current condition and the path to recovery! Highly recommend him to others!"
"I am Dr Kann’s patient .My name is Kathleen Gawronski. This survey was sent to my husband ‘s phone but I am answering. Dr Kann operated on my broken ankle which had 3 factures. He had to insert a plate as well as screws. The surgery was 10 days ago .I still can’t walk on it yet but the pain is minimal now. I definitely recommend Dr Kann . He’s one of the best !!!"
"I went to the walk-in ortho clinic at Seven Fields with severe pain in my right heel the evening of June 4th. I had x-rays done, and I was told I have a right heel fracture. I was advised against any weight-bearing activity for 6-8 weeks, and that I would have to use crutches and/or a knee scooter to get around. Since I am a Pharma rep and live in my car managing a quarter of the state of PA, driving daily would not be feasible with my right foot in a boot. Therefore, I immediately initiated an FMLA/short-term disability claim through my employer (to start on June 12th, after using the required PTO days prior to activating FMLA). Two days later on June 6th, I had a CT scan done on my right heel. Today, June 10th, I see Dr. Jeffrey Kann (at the Fox Chapel location @ 45 minutes away from my home) to review the CT scan and receive the designated treatment plan. After waiting in the exam room for 45+ minutes, he walks in and literally gives me maybe 2 minutes of his time, tells me there is no fracture or bone spurs, explains I have plantar fasciitis, and then writes a script for PT for the next 6 weeks. I had more questions to ask, but he literally started walking out of the exam room as I was asking them. I am not sure how I was misdiagnosed initially. My visit just now has left me feeling extremely unvalued and minimized (as a repeat patient for several years) and that the questions I still had and was trying to ask regarding my diagnosis and recommended treatment were totally insignificant and unimportant. I am shocked and very disappointed following these recent experiences at Tri-State Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. My visits have always been very positive up until last week. At this point, I feel like I should obtain a copy of my X-ray and CT scan and seek a second opinion elsewhere, just in case, especially because I was told multiple things but not really given an explanation as to how or why."
