Reviews
"I admire Allegheny County's team of professionals who are soldiers of food safety. With all the challenges of governance, this group remains efficient and diligent in service to our community's health and to the enterprising souls who labor in food service."
"Not surprised that this Health Department wants to be bought out by the ‘World Health Organisation.’ I bet if I wanted my family to get the covid–19 vaccination, they’d have that vaccine available and still want forgiveness."
"I had to give 1 star to get the review to post...it's no stars for me. I filed a complaint in October on The MainStay Suites/ Pittsburgh Airport and the deplorable, filthy conditions at this hotel. The person taking the information seemed scattered an not interested in the information I was giving him. He did give me the name of the inspector assigned to my complaint and she too had no clue...I called back after almost a month of no contact and was told by the inspector the "Health Department" didn't handle these type of issues...Really! Wow."
"It took six months to actually get someone on the phone to answer my questions. Sent countless emails and voicemails and finally got them to tell me that despite not being able to open my business this year due to COVID that I was responsible for paying all fees in order to keep my business “open.” If I didn’t pay the almost $300 in fees for the year (during which time I did not operate for a single minute so what am I paying you for) that I wouldn’t be able to open this summer without going through the entire permitting process again. It’s so helpful and heartwarming that these places care so much about the small businesses that make up our community."
