"I've been going to O'Rourke Vision Care for several years now and had a very good experience. The eye doctors (I've actually seen all 3 over the years) are knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. The associates who assist in selecting glasses are very friendly with a good eye for what glasses are complimentary! They also have a great selection of glasses. I will definitely continue to use O'Rourke as my eye provider going forward."
"Dr. O’Rourke is always very thorough and competent in her exams. Even on a very busy day, I did not feel rushed nor did I feel like I waited excessively. She has helped me manage eye irritation well and has even helped my prescription improve. I highly recommend this office!"
"I recommend O'Rourke whenever the subject of eye care is mentioned. I had a recent eye exam at O'Rourke in addition to having my annual eye exams for the last couple of years there. Professional, courteous people throughout the complete exam. Time was taken during the testing, allowing me to be completely confident in the results. Each test was explained thoroughly to me."
"I am middle aged and never wore glasses before. My last eye exam was over 10 years ago. I noticed that my vision was becoming a little blurry close up, and I figured I was long overdue for an eye exam. I appreciated that they gave me a comprehensive eye exam. I also appreciated that they had the retina camera, so I didn't have to have my eyes dilated (it did cost extra money, though). Because I have never needed glasses before, I don't really know that much about vision problems or how different prescriptions work. I just knew that my parents started wearing "readers" in middle age, so I thought that is what I needed. I asked about readers and they gave me a suggest for that as a prescription (1x). They also gave me a regular eye glass prescription. I fulfilled both prescriptions from another eye glass company. I am very confused why they gave me a regular eyeglass prescription. When I wear the prescription glasses, I guess I see a very slight improvement in my vision from like the 12-24 inches range, but outside of that range everything is more blurry. Also, objects are warped and it gives me a headache. It turns out the readers is the only thing I needed to make reading a book or looking at my phone just a little more enjoyable. My computer screen is more than 24 inches from my face, so the prescription glasses made my vision worse when looking at the computer. It's on me a bit for not asking more questions or doing more of my own research, but why couldn't they give me example glasses in the office so I could see what they would be like in real world conditions? I would have decided that I didn't need a prescription and would not have wasted money buying prescription eye glasses. Or at least they could have explained why I was having the experience I was. I later learned through talking to other people with glasses that maybe the warping would go away once my brain adjusted to it. I think the only thing I needed was 1x readers. I am happy with the readers right now."
"Have worked with Dr. O’Rourke’s office for years and love it! Just had my yearly appointment with Dr. Waddel and she was professional, thorough, and friendly. Even answered some off-the-cuff questions I had about the inside of the eye when we were looking at my eye scan pictures. Excellent work."
