"Red Cross is in critical need of blood, the process of donating blood was quick the staff and volunteers were friendly. I urge everyone to give."
"Pre-Class: I went to the Strip District location for a CPR skills class. None of the emails sent out after registering mentioned anything about parking, nor does the website give you any indication where to park. When you arrive to the building there's a sign on the side of it that says "parking in the back of the building." So I drove around back and they have a parking lot. So I parked there. When I went to check in at the front desk, the gentleman behind the counter told me I couldn't park there. I asked him where I could park and they told me street parking or at a parking garage a couple blocks down the street. When I nicely mentioned that it would be helpful if the Red Cross provided guidance in the email related to parking and asked if there was someone they or I could tell that to, the female worker that was standing there copped an attitude and said, "really, do other places give you guidance. Don't you know what parking in the Strip District is like." To which I told her that, "yes, most places when you register for and event, they do give you guidance on parking." And then she wanted to tell me I was wrong and became confrontational. The gentleman was very nice and he could see I was becoming upset/on the verge of tears, with how the lady was treating me. So I had to leave and find parking elsewhere which made me late. When speaking with the other students, they all ran into the same issue and were upset with the lack of guidance on parking. The Class: The class itself was very informative and the instructor was great! I would suggest coming here for classes if you understand the parking situation and don't have to interact with the front desk lady that wanted to be confrontational and abrasive."
"I Went to give blood at a drive so I only saw what I think would normally be a conference room. But I know they have drives there frequently so this may help. I was able to park in the lot between the Red Cross building and Guardian Storage. If you walk behind the building you'll come to some steps that lead up to a courtyard. Cross the yard to the sidewalk and follow it left into where the building makes a U shape. There's a door on the right (ignore it) and a little further along there's a door to the left that lets you in near where blood donation is done. A left once you're inside will take you to the blood donation room."
"I was really excited to take a course on babysitting from the Red Cross online. I got a quarter of my badge before the program stopped functioning. no buttons would work. I tried to refresh the page and all of my progress was lost, so I went through the lesson again. When I got to the same spot the same thing happened. I tried one more time and it did not work as well. I am very disappointed with my experience taking the online courses."
