UPMC St. Margaret 815 Freeport Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215

"Went in with family member with a medical condition and history of low B12. They send him home without checking the B12 levels and tell him to take OTC tablets instead of transfusing iron or B12 injection. Cool, another useless UPMC facility. They wanted to do X-rays that were definitely not needed, but couldn't listen to the patients history and add the lab to the blood work appropriately. A basic urgent care has done more about this than UPMC, and listened. It was like a game of telephone -you tell one person what's wrong and the next person has all the wrong details. Poor communication. Problem not solved, but sent home. Thanks for nothing, not even a clear conscious that my family member is safe or healthy. As a former employee who was once your cheerleader -this type of care is disgusting. Shame on you UPMC -you don't hold true to any of your core values or even common sense. Do NOT reply to this with your typed up half-smirking prompt to tell me to leave feedback on your site because you care -it's obvious you do nothing about it anyway. DO BETTER FOR THE COMMUNITY, NOT YOUR SHAREHOLDERS!!!"

"Worst hospital to go to the emergency room for went there on 8/12/2024 and waited in the emergency room for 8 hours before I was even seen. Then get back there and have wait another 2 hours before doctor sees you. The staff is so rude. Didn't get any relief after seen the physician assistant. This is the worse hospital to go to. I wouldn't send anyone there for help."

"The doctors and nurses did an amazing job today and I just wanted to give a shout out. My daughter passed out on our way to the car after having blood work. Fortunately, I was able to catch her fall and prevent her from hitting her head. Immediately, there was a whole crew of doctors and nurses outside to make sure she was ok. The maintenance crew even rescued her phone ear bud that fell into the water drain. I just wanted to thank everyone for being so attentive to her needs and making sure everything was ok! Thank you St. Margaret’s!"

"Doctor Anna Schwartz and nurse Kayla were very attentive and kind when we brought our child to ER. The wait was not bad as far as most ERs go, and everyone else we met from security to front desk to triage and radiology were pleasant."

"My mom fell and broke her hip 2 weeks ago. We are so lucky my mom came to Saint Margaret’s. It just so happens to be an Orthopedic hospital. All of the staff have been absolutely fantastic from the surgeon himself , the post surgery unit, to the rehab side. The nurses and physical therapists have really taken such good care of my mom. Everyone is nice! I told my mom she is getting spoiled being there. Not looking forward to her being discharged in another week or 2 to go back to her assisted living"
