"I saw Dr Jodi Reider for almost 3 years before she left her practice at UPMC. I am now in need of an endocrinologist again and it deeply concerns me that she is no longer at this location. Before she left she told me where she was relocating to if I need her again. It was a 4 hour drive for me to get to UPMC. Now I will be driving 6 hours just because I trust Dr. Reider with my life!!"
"If I could rate this less than one star I would. Had been seeing Jodie for 2 years for thyroid cancer. Had my fair share of problems with feeling as though I was not listened to nor valued as a patient. I overlooked this because endocrinologists are hard to find PLUS my fantastic surgeon said she was good. My value on her & her practice took a huge decline in my eyes. I was not informed until today that Jodie is no longer accepting my insurance as of a month ago. Ok, I understand some doctors drop & pick up Insurance's all the time. My problem is, I was NEVER told. I called in to get a refill on the medicine I HAVE to take daily for not having a thyroid & all they tell me is "she is no longer with the practice". Excuse me? They gave me another number to call. Put a call in a week ago, still no call back. Now receive a letter saying she is no longer taking my insurance company... dated the day after I called. I have had other doctors or specialists have this happen, but was always given prior notice- even a few weeks would have been better than this. So here I am, 2 pills left, no refills, they will not call me back & due for my cancer testing. Angered does not even begin to describe how I feel. I will be contacting a lawyer & I suggest you do NOT chose her to care for you. Lack of respect for patience!!"
