"This is genuinely one of the worst ERs I’ve ever been to. It’s unorganized and unprofessional. I went in and within the first few minutes of walking in I knew it was going to be bad. I sat in the waiting room and five minutes after I sat down a women came rushing from the back of the waiting room to a nurse standing in front of me. She said a young lady was having a seizure. No one rushed over, no one did much of anything. Finally a nurse went over and put the young lady who had seized into a wheelchair, she pushed her against a wall and they left her there. The young lady stood up about ten minutes later and started to vomit. No one cleaned the vomit, nor did they take her to be seen. I left after that. This isn’t the first bad experience I’ve had going there, just the most recent."

"Dr. Bovino is excellent. Anyone getting Dr. Bovino, count your lucky stars. I was there on 7/6/2024 with a tri-lateral malleolus fracture (broken ankle). Dr. Bovino reset my ankle and made a plaster splint. Service and care was exceptional and I was fortunate to land in their care. I had a followup visit with an Orthopedic Surgeon in another facility. When he saw the splint he asked if I had already seen another Orthopedic Dr. When I informed him what he was seeing was done in the ER he was impressed. "I don't normally see this level of expertise dealing with this type of ankle injury from an ER Dr." He did a followup X-Ray and said the reset of the ankle done by Dr. Bovino was perfect. 3 days later I had my surgery and am currently on the long road to recovery. I could have been a lot longer if not for Dr. Bovino's exceptional skills. Thank you Dr. Pat!!!"

"I was there a few weeks ago with my Mom. She had a bad tooth and since she had a heart attack in the past. We were worried. My Mom wasn't seen for over 8 hours. there was this one kid crying and moaning really loud in pain. You could tell he needed help and was hurting and no one came and took him for over an hour. He was screaming in agony throwing up and people were so upset that no one was helping him. I understand the hospitals are busy and understaffed probably but this poor kid and my sick mother. The time it took was ridiculous"

"A TOTAL nightmare. Don't know how they keep getting awards. After dropping a can on my foot, next morning I couldn't walk. Pain unbelievable. Went to ER Boardman to sit and wait for 3 hours for xray. I had already gone to family doctor,knew it wasn't broke,but now concerned about blood clots. Another hour for results,to be told, it's not broke. I told her stress fractures and clots don't show up on t xray to which she said "oh,did you want us to test for that" place filthy. I left went a week later to foot doctor. Same experience with grandson. Chest pains,vomiting,stomach cramps. After waiting 3 hours,with no med to stop vomiting,left and went to belmont campus,was seen immediately"

"May 2023: urgent care believed I had a blood clot and sent me to the ER for an ultrasound. They called ahead to tell them I was coming because under the circumstances I should have been a priority. It took them three hours to see me in triage, four more hours to get an ultrasound. One more hour for the results. They didn’t find a clot, but said they clearly saw the swelling and other symptoms, told me they have no idea what it could be. I spent less than 5 minutes total with a medical professional in both triage and for results. So I waited eight hours and will pay around $800 after insurance to get a shoulder shrug and be told I should see my family doctor the next day. (Who by the way, diagnosed it as a Phlebitis within minutes. ). I know someone who is an EMT with a local fire department, who warned to never go there, higher risk of death as an outcome for a serious emergency."
