"I wish I could give 0 star. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this location. After driving 35 minutes to get to 4747 N Harlem Ave, I was told by the staff that I wasn't supposed to donate that day. If that were the case, why did the app allow me to schedule for that day? When I asked, the staff casually brushed it off, saying, "Oh, sometimes the app has some glitches." This is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I tried calling the facility four times before arriving, and no one answered the phone. When I brought this up with the staff, they simply said, "We're always busy, so we don't have time to answer the phone." What about my time? The time it took me to get there, the gas wasted, all for nothing? This place is absolutely ridiculous. The lack of professionalism and poor management is appalling. It’s clear that they lack the ability to properly manage this facility. This place is a complete waste of time for the minimal compensation they offer. If you value your time and plasma, do yourself a favor and donate somewhere else where your time is respected and your donation is valued. On top of the initial waste of time getting there, the donation process itself is another nightmare. They don’t have enough staff for screening, so expect to spend around 3 hours there, plus your travel time, for only $120 a week. It’s just not worth it. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere."
"Good work NEVER goes unnoticed. The way that the people on the floor work together is great it's not just by color or area, or that's your color you figure it out. I saw while donating how DJ and Lee helped each other out and went from one area to another. Thanks for a nice experience and letting me know your there for me. You guys were great!! Good job!!"
"Waited an hour and a half for a technician who didn't even know how to set up the machine properly, miss my vein and give me a hematoma. Then another technician did the same on my other arm! First tech was cursing under his breath, while he fumbled with the machine. The second tech was busy joking around and chatting with other techs. I usually have a good experience there, but today was unacceptable. I definitely won't be back! There seems to be enough 1 star reviews with messed up arms, so I'll spare you! It hurts typing this! I didn't get the techs name, but I've been going there for a year now and never seen him. He seemed to be very inexperienced and unsupervised!"
"Although, I have not been to any other BioLife location… I love My BioLife location! Everyone is polite, courteous, professional and the entire experience since the first visit has been delightful! In the past, I have always driven to my appointments but had to take the train and a bunch of buses yesterday which resulted in me being late by 25 minutes. I was rescheduled at the front desk(app revealed zero open appointments times to reschedule) and in line in the next 15 minutes!!! I recommend My BioLife Harwood Heights location to all my friends and family! They’re truly a blessing!!!"
"I have been coming to this location for the past three weeks and overall I've had great experiences. Most of the staff is polite, friendly and very professional. Having said that, I did have a terrible experience with one of the technicians. I'll just leave the photos here. I hope the management takes some action to avoid this to happen to someone else."
