Reviews
"I used to call and get someone to answer right away and schedule the blood donation the very next day but somehow things changed and their scheduling system now STINKS! I call and don't get anyone but an answering service that says that they will get back to you within 72 hours. That is a system geared to fail. Whoever created or suggested that system needs to be replaced and that system immediately tossed."
"I donate often, and I love that they have the same staff. They’re friendly and helpful."
"Dont ever give these people your personal information. You will get weekly spam calls asking you to donate. You have been warned."
"At this Vitalant blood bank, I regularly donate whole blood. Beforehand, on their website, I make my appointments, fill out my health questionnaires, and print my donor passes. When I arrive, the phlebotomists courteously greet me, enter my information into their computer, take my vital signs, and test my iron levels. My most recent phlebotomist seemed to be new, but all of the phlebotomists easily insert their needles into my antecubital vein, and all of the phlebotomists make friendly small-talk. After my blood donations, I rest at a socially distanced table and eat snacks and beverages. Note that some of Vitalant’s phlebotomists float to different locations, so you might get a different phlebotomist in the future. In addition, Vitalant awards points for donating blood products, and you can redeem the points for gift cards."
"Recently had a bad experience at this location. The people that work there were unprofessional and uncaring. It was my fourth time donating and I did not appreciate the disrespect and negative attitudes from the phlebotomists there. It was not even subtle."
