"After 4 years and 3 months of experiencing daily early morning headaches and not getting my questions answers by other specialists, my husband and I reached out to Dr. Eric Baron at Cleveland Clinic. It was obvious that he thoroughly studied my medical chart prior to my appointment. Dr. Baron not only knew exactly what diagnosis to assign to my condition, but within two weeks, I received medication that immediately prevented the headaches from occurring. It will be two years in August since he's been my physician; I am most grateful to him and his expertise for what resulted in my having a "normal" life without those violent pains in my head."
"I have never received worse medical care. He prescribed me a drug that made me feel extremely sick and when I immediately reached out about it in August I got no response. I reached out again twice in September and again October with no response. I then was given botox injections for my migraines and he insisted on doing it himself-which I initially thought was him being nice but now know was because he wanted to bill more money for it than his NP. I was given an estimate of $0 and showed up to a $300 bill the day of which I figured was fine. I was then sent a $10,000 bill after the fact when I was given an estimate of $0 and said it was covered by insurance. Some things on the bill never even occurred and I had a witness who was there at the appointment with me to testify to that. I called and messaged the office several times with no response or follow up. After talking with insurance and the Cleveland Clinic for multiple hours on the phone my insurance told the clinic they were billing for treatment I did not receive and their response was "we can bill what we want" and that they do not have a department for disputes so legally my insurance has to bill me what the clinic charges. It is also the physician who bills so it was Dr. Baron who did not follow up on my medical care when I reached out with multiple concerns about the medication, billed for things that did not happen, did not follow up with me after the botox to see how things were or if it worked (even though I did reach out yet again after that with a few questions), and then did not respond when I reached out with several concerns about the bill. I felt lied to and deceived and can not recommend seeing him or even going to the Cleveland Clinic at all after how horrible this was."
"I lucked out years ago to get a spot with Dr. Baron within 5 weeks of requesting the visit. He has changed my life for the better. He has fought for me to get the best care possible, against insurance. He is up to date on the newest medication and non-pharmacological treatments. And he's always interested in hearing not only symptoms but how life is going. Hands down one of the best physicians."
"Dr Baron is great and is well worth the wait to see him. He knows your history like nobody's business and always wants to know how you're doing. And not just health wise just in general. He's a great doctor period."
"I flew from South Dakota and I'm not wealthy. I was assured I picked the right doctor for trigeminal neuralgia. He had me try one medication and than a second (which was something I stated I had before and was allergic to!!). He then said I had nueropogthy, which I do not. Tingly due to a balloon compression is nerve damage that's intentional! I wasted time, MONEY on this! The recommendation of medication i'm allergic to... genius!"
