"I had an enjoyable experience with Dr. Schmetterer (Dr. S) and his medical team. I normally didn't have to wait very long to see Dr. S, but if I did, I enjoyed talking to the other patients in the nice waiting area in Salem hospital. Dr. S explains the procedures and instructions thoroughly, but if you have any additional questions his receptionist/assistant, Lynn, will get the answers for you. Melissa, the ultrasound expert, is very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, my experience with Dr. S and his medical team was a positive one. I would highly recommend Dr. S. He is an excellent vascular surgeon."
"My experience has been AWESOME! From the consultation to the procedure, as well as the follow-ups! Everyone is so nice and genuinely cares about your well-being. The medical staff and Dr. Schmetterer really do make the procedure an stress-free and calm experience. The office and front desk staff are awesome as well! Truly could not say enough nice things about this practice! After my first office visit, I felt so much better! My legs are not swollen and feel so light again. I'm able to take a walk without pain. "Nothing but praise for Dr. Schmetterer and the girls that work with him. Dr. did surgery for my lung cancer and did a fantastic job. Explained everything very thoroughly. Always had the time and patience for any and all questions or concerns. Does not rush through on anything. The girls are always very helpful and caring, and willing to your visit a pleasant experience. I have no complaints about either the doctor or any of the staff. 5 thumbs up to all."
"Dr. Schmetterer and his staff are very friendly and helpful. The office is clean and organized. Communication regarding upcoming appointments and treatments was always easy, clear and concise. I have only positive things to say about my experience with them. I needed a lot of help with my varicose veins and could not be happier with the results. My legs were miserable and now they look and feel great. The treatments were completely worth any temporary discomfort. Dr. Schmetterer and his staff were excellent at calming my nerves and offering whatever I needed to make the treatments tolerable. They were always professional, competent and compassionate. I also appreciate the fact that they allowed me to pay off the balance on my bill at my pace."
