The classes you will take will help you not only understand your addiction but will help give you the tools to overcome your addiction. The AA meetings that come to OARC help you understand the 12 step process and what Alcoholic Anonymous is all about. The one thing that just amazed me was because the staff did such a great job helping the clients understand that they could not do this alone, that it produced a nature of exceptance, reliability, and teamwork with the clients. The thought of going to rehab can bring thoughts of fear, loneliness , and regret but OARC will help those thoughts dissipate. They are in the business of saving life’s. "OARC saved my life. Extremely welcoming and friendly administration and staff, everyone truly wants whats best for the clients. The facility is clean and comfortable as well as being stocked with food, snacks, and desserts. The group sessions are extremely helpful and the schedule has breaks often which allows you to not be overwhelmed by information, as well as having plenty of more fun styles of therapy like music therapy and “sound bath” therapy, as well as bi-weekly outings to enjoy nature and have fun with your peers. The one on one therapy sessions are fit to what you need and every counselor does a great job of helping lead you to the breakthroughs you need to get better. Weekly activities in house are also extremely helpful for the bad days and grow a sense of community. The peer led daily AA meetings and weekly NA meetings offer an easy and comfortable segway into the programs that help continue recovery outside of the facility with a wonderful rotation of speakers. The environment brings unity among the clients and a safe place for all to share and grow, I experienced everyone coming together to solve our common problems in a way I never have before, if you're thinking about detox and/or recovery for yourself or someone you love, do it, and do it here you will not regret it."
