"For a Sunday afternoon with a party of four, I was surprised that the wait for an inside table was less than 15 min. Tried something totally new—small kale quinoa and half older of banana walnut pancakes. They were both so good, reasonably portioned and priced. The hubs enjoyed the trout croquette. They weren’t as fishy as I thought they would be (which was good) but I didn’t like the texture—it was too mushy/soft for me. However, it was fried to perfection. I enjoyed the batter. The girl had a BLT and smashed it. The boy had the traditional breakfast and needed help cleaning his plate. Staff was friendly and the bathroom was clean & decorated really cool."

"This was a nice quaint restaurant near Corkrown. The menu is unique with the banana pancakes that are literally made with bananas, and the beef poutine fries were very filling & delicious. They also had the Chia latte, that I didn't like that much. Overall, I'd come back to visit"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brooklyn is a hidden gem near downtown Detroit. Despite its small size, this restaurant delivers big on both customer service and food quality. We sampled their chicken sandwich, burgers, and an omelette, and each dish exceeded our expectations. The flavors were delicious, and the presentation was impressive. The drinks complemented our meals perfectly. What truly stood out, though, was the outstanding customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. We truly appreciate the attention to detail and warmth from the entire team at Brooklyn. This is definitely a place worth visiting again and again."

"Super cute, quaint brunch spot! I got the traditional breakfast and added one of their famous banana walnut pancakes to try! Delicious! The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and attentive! They use locally sourced ingredients and have monthly and seasonal specials! It is very small, so on busier days there’s def a wait. Vegan friendly!"

"There was an hour wait, so we decided take-out was the better option, and it was. The staff were really attentive and friendly. We got the food in 15 - 20 minutes and dashed him. The pancakes were flavorful. You can taste the banana in the pancakes. The walnuts were lightly toasted and a pinch of sweet. The potatoes and tempeh bacon were seasoned well. I tend to like them a tad more crisper, but overall, they were good."
