Midtown Shangri-La

"Food was delicious! Lives up to the “best Chinese in midtown” quo! Everything was satisfying and the service was amazing! Will definitely be coming back here upon revisiting the city! If you’re a veggie lover I recommend the lettuce wraps! Also the dim sum is awesome! So much fun and variety! Lots of yummy things to try!!! 10/10"

"Went here after a long day with a friend. Service was excellent! The Chicken Lo Mein and Hot Green Tea are delicious!! Also loved the crab rangoons and the general chicken. My friend said the hot & sour soup was delicious too. I got their food to-go once, but it was not as good as eating in. Tasted completely different. Reasonably priced and in a good location in walking distance to most spots around WSU. Will definitely be back at some point soon!"

"Midtown Shangri-La is a culinary gem in Detroit, offering an extraordinary Chinese dining experience. Wanted to try a new place for lunch in downtown. Luckily we went to this right place. Lots of things offered on menu. We had different combinations platter - General Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Kung Po Chicken and Shrimp with vegetables.. Comes with Spring roll and Fried Rice. Great taste with right portion. Loved the sauce offered. Service was quick and friendly. All worth it!!"

"Fun spot to try a variety of different dishes. They have dim sum, sushi, other Chinese entries including classics and curries. There is also a bar with cocktails and a small beer and wine list. Service was very friendly and quick. Food came out in waves as it was prepared and the portions and quality were nice. I would recommend stopping in and giving it a try."
