The Irish Dance Academy-Alaska, located at 4105 East Turnagain Boulevard in Anchorage, Alaska, is a non-profit youth organization founded in 1997 to promote the love of Irish Dance, culture, and tradition. Partnered with the Comerford School of Irish Dance, the academy has become the premier dance academy in Anchorage, with teams and solo dancers achieving high rankings in Regional, National, and World-class competitions.

Under the direction of Noreen Wescott T.C.R.G. and Tony Comerford A.D.C.R.G., the Irish Dance Academy offers classes for beginners and seasoned champions alike. Annual registration fees and tuition costs apply, with additional expenses for dance shoes, costumes, and accessories as dancers progress in their training.

New students are accepted in the fall and sometimes in January, following the Anchorage School District calendar. Beginners start with one class per week and are encouraged to practice at home between classes. While some dancers choose to compete, many participate for recreation only.
