Dimond Pool, located at 2909 West 88th Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska, is a community pool offering a variety of swim programs and activities. The pool staff can be reached Monday - Friday after 5 p.m. The pool is easily accessible from Dimond to 88th Avenue, turning north. The pool is located on the left at the north end of Dimond School.
Employment at Dimond Pool requires applicants to be at least 16 years old, Red Cross Lifeguard Certified, and pass a successful background check. The pool is open for early morning swims from 5:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. Monday - Friday, and various other times throughout the week.
Parent & Me Swim is available for families with children 3 and under, where parents must accompany their children in the water. Siblings are welcome, but space is limited to the Kiddie Pool during shared times with Lap Swim and Water Aerobics Programs. The diving board is not available during these times.
Deep-End Water Aerobics is offered on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. SwimAmerica Lessons are also available through the Alaska SwimAmerica Lesson Program, offered Monday - Thursday. For more information or to register for classes, visit their website at www.teamunify.com.

"Dimond Pool is a great municipal pool. They have enough room to where it doesn't feel crowded while you're doing laps. 4 stars because the lockers are very rusty and you may discolor your clothes if you put them directly in the bottom without putting your shoes in first."

"I have been trying to book a party at Dimond for the last week or more. I have left messages and went down there and requested to have someone call me. I was told to call them back and when I do they don't answer and NEVER return any of my calls. I will never again try to plan a party at any pool here in Anchorage. I don't think I have ever dealt with more neglectful, unprofessional people when trying to spend money on a party. Big thumbs down!!"
