"We had an amazing time ice skating! It had been 5+ years since I had skated so I was a little rusty. Kristina was super supportive and had several ways of getting me back up to speed. Before I knew it, I was playing keep away hockey with my son. Kristina offered refreshments and chocolate covered cherries which was perfect for the occasion. I recommend!"
"My 12 yo daughter: "Seeing the lake, going in the freezing cold lake, and the friends." She didn't like the backpack, carrying it to each new location. As a parent, I got so many stories about all the experiences of climbing and eating, playing Dungeons and Dragons and more. It was nice to have a week with no devices. They saw beavers and marmots (animals that scream on rocks). My 17 yo daughter: "Beautiful scenery." The staff was super responsive to my oldest child's need to go home with severe headaches (which we were aware of and wanted to try this opportunity out). They brought her back to me in Anchorage."
"We are so grateful for Into the Woods - our daughter is in 2nd grade and has been participating in the after school program since she was in Kindergarten. She absolutely loves it - the staff are AMAZING and we never have to worry when we know she is with ITWAK. She even spent most of her summer at their summer camp at Kincaid this year and had a blast. They have built the perfect program that allows the kids to have fun while learning to be safe, responsible, Alaskans - all outside. We love ITWAK!"
