"Horrible through and through. she was very uncertain on prices. I paid $100.00 in cash for the deposit and she said the rest was due at the time of the appointment. I later used Venmo to transfer her another $300 to cover the rest of the cost of the tattoo. The day before my appointment she messages me and askes me to move the date of my appointment so she can take care of her kid. I oblige as a curtesy. The next appointment day comes and she messages me again to ask for me to move the appointment due to her "been in the bathroom all day". I oblige again and ask her for a refund because I no longer have time in my schedule for the next few months and I am not sure when I will be able to sit for a tattoo. She agrees to refund me. She also asked for a week to get the money together so she can refund me. I oblige again. One week later and she sends me $200 of the total $400 back. I ask for the rest and she claims that She will not refund me because she "does not refund deposits." Then she moved on to claim that her deposit should have been $500 and not $200 and that she was being nice in refunding me $200. Now I must go to small claims court to get my money back."

"I recieved a gift certificate for $175 to What Tattoo and texted my artist (Stephanie) May 21st to set an appointment. I let her know that I was moving June 13th and was hoping for an appointment before then.On May 22nd she got in touch with me letting me know it would be no problem and we could set an appointment for June 7th and I would just need to drop off a deposit. Once I did that on May 24th she then let me know my appointment to June 11th at 12:30. Already irritated because I move only two days after that i agreed and caused no issues. 2 weeks and 3 days go by and I drive in to Wasilla from Anchorage to show up early to my appointment. 15 minutes goes by and my artist had still not arrived and I sent her a message asking if we were still meeting that day. In return she says "I don't have you in for today .... I wonder if I spaced writing you In... Shit I see I gave you that date ... but I didn't write it in!!! I'm sorry I'm going to have to move it." Thus I reminded her I moved in two days. She then let me know she doesnt do refunds and was not able to reschedule because "That's too soon . I feel bad . I can give you the GC back and you can re gift it or sell it ?" The whole process was very messy and unprofessional. I was looking forward to having her art on my arm but was very disappointed in a service I didnt even recieve."
