"I have had 2 transmissions worked on here. My truck had reverse go out and after his inspection he discovered additional issues that I had not told him about. He did a complete rebuild at less than I was quoted at another shop. My truck is almost 20 years old and working as new. My car is over 25 years old and would not downshift when coming to a stop and would stall as a result when stopping. He diagnosed the problem in a conversation. After his repairs, it is functioning great and is once again a reliable vehicle. Thank you Don and your staff for jobs well done !!!!!!"

"First off, do your own research before trusting one review. This is just my personal experiencce. I took my Jeep in to get a solenoid replaced, after talking on the phone I didn't feel 100% confident about this place but I went through with taking it to Don's. Before repairing my Jeep he warned that this repair might not be the issue with my Jeep and that it could end up costing more. His tone made it seem like he was leading onto more than what was said, but I could have just misinterpreted. I came back the next day to a bill of $250, a little off than his estimate, with the car still broken. I was disappointed but he did warn me prior to the repair. After paying he told me about how my automatic transmission was failing, clutches burnt out, bad parts etc and it was need a partial to a total rebuild of $2500. I didn't feel comfortable with this diagnosis and took it to another shop where I was told the tranmission was perfectly fine and in good condition and that the computer that runs the tranny was bad, saving me $1400 in repairs from Don's dianosis. I had the PCM replaced at the other tranny shop and my Jeep runs like new. I don't trust Don anymore and will not be back at his shop. Despite this though, he did give me a more than fair estimate of what the total cost for the repair that I requested was and replaced the part. This is my personal experience with this shop and I encourage you to look around before settling on any one shop. Reviews are key to scoping out a business beforehand, a mistake I will not make again."
