Jess holds a lovely balance of structure and flow with plenty of breathing room for creativity, self directed play, and opportunity to make and learn from mistakes (with awesome problem solving facilitation from Jess). She truly "sees" each child and seeks to help them find and use their wings. The small enrollment size is one of my favorite aspects as it allows for an intimate community to form. "Miss Jess was a truly wonderful start to my child's education. She focuses on the emotional growth of the kids first. In a time when our children are inundated with loud, noisy, instant everything Miss Jess teaches them how to trust themselves to make decisions despite all of it. Kids lead much of the learning but she is not a push over either! Her discipline is calm, fair, and reflective. We miss her and will always be grateful we were lucky enough to find her. My son still wears the bracelet she gave him almost two years ago!"
