Spirit At Play Early Childhood

Spirit At Play Early Childhood is a licensed and up-to-code school located at 621 Stephens Avenue in Missoula, Montana. We follow the guidelines set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and integrate various teaching philosophies into our curriculum. Our mission is to provide children with the tools they need to thrive physically, mentally, and spiritually.

At Spirit At Play, we embrace childhood and believe in the power of play. Children are treasured for their unique spirits and are encouraged to take care of themselves and each other. We teach them to overcome challenges through determination and solve problems through communication.

We value our families and the community, and strive to build strong relationships with both. Our curriculum includes field trips, community service projects, and lessons on sustainability. We teach children the value of reducing, reusing, and recycling to lessen our impact on the earth.

Our program is for children aged 2.5-6 years old and focuses on social-emotional development, sustainability, and community connection. Kindness and understanding are at the core of our teaching philosophy, and we believe in the power of learning through play.
