"Management sucks, the staff always closes early and never answers the phone, trying to get maintenance done is constant jumping through hoops. not to mention how run down the 201 Whitaker Apartment is. And if they have someone enter your apartment to do work while you’re not home they’ll leave your doors unlock. these people shouldn’t even be able to rent out buildings. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. photos added are the parts of roof that have been falling off that they don’t care about"
"Professional property staff Emily and Ashton have been patient and kind and worked with us to secure our new place our family calls home . Professional properties are affordable and remodeled and well taken care of and have a team behind you as a tenant . Plus, it is nice to have staff answers questions promptly in person, over the phone, and by email . Rent from professional property if you want an affordable ,pet friendly, clean, remodeled ,updated place to live in Missoula ."
"I had a great experience with PPM. The staff was professional, they responded quickly to any maintenance requests, and were great to rent from. I would highly recommend them."
"Jumped through every hoop they asked. I have impeccable rental and personal references going back years. Credit not so great but rent is always paid and I have proof of that. Not even an offer for a double deposit or anything. They had our background reports and could have said at that point that would not rent to us but continued to ask for more and more documentation which was promptly provided. I don't understand why property management companies need to insinuate themselves into all your personal business. The only concerns should be, Is rent paid and on time? In my case yes. Does the tenant take good care of the property? In my case, yes. Is the tenant courteous to other tenants? In my case, yes. Also, I have a friend who has rented from them for years and got a letter telling them that although they "have been good tenants" they have 30 days to vacate. Their 1.5 rating on Yelp is well deserved. No compassion or willingness to help. They treat people with less that stellar credit, no matter what the reason, like something unpleasant on the bottom of their shoes that can just be scraped off and discarded. I'm not sure why I feel the need to respond to the management but I do. As far as my statement that our credit is not so good, I was accused of 'stretching the truth.' Just to be clear, I could have put, our credit is not so good, to say the least, or I could say it's not totally in the toilet but is hanging out in the bathroom these days. I also should point out the fact that I actually went to PPM's office in person before applying. I spoke with a female there, I did not get her name, but she is in the office straight through the doorway after the reception desk. (If I remember the layout correctly.) I fully explained our credit situation and when describing it to her I used the words, "Our credit sucks." I asked if it was even worth applying. I was advised, verbatim, 'we don't go by credit score alone. If there is no derogatory rental history you're fine.' The outcome of our application determined, that was a lie. As far as my friends getting kicked out, which is essentially what was done to them, you would think that if the property owner had 'other plans' for the property everyone in the apartment building would have been given eviction notices, not just them. The entire rental market in Missoula is insane. Some management companies are nothing but greedy souls. I'm lucky to be with a good company at this time, but they do not have properties in Missoula, and Missoula is where we need to be. Oh well, if the door doesn't open, it's not my door. I will keep looking for the one that is."
"I have lived in a PPM managed property for almost 2 years. The application process was smooth and Theresa was very prompt in her responses. Their online rental payment platform is easy to use so that each roommate can pay their portion of the rent and you can see what amounts were paid and any amount remaining, and the portal also lets you submit maintenance requests very easily with photos. Another shout out goes to Laura and the maintenance team at Missoula Maintenance. They are quick when responding to issues, great at fixing the issue, and generally good at communicating with tenants. When our pipes froze while we were gone for Christmas break, they handled everything so that when we returned all was in order."
