"DO NOT TAKE YOUR KITTIES HERE! Have been taking my cats here for many years, thought Dr Jenny was a decent vet but have always had issues with her office manager who has ALWAYS been loud, rude, condescending and lacks compassion with stressed pet owners. My cat, Ebony was very sick, not eating, losing weight, lethargic. Dr Jenny sent us home with Metacam(aspirin-like), saying it was most likely resorptive teeth bothering her. After a week of no improvement, she took blood, had a pathologist read it. Dr Jenny said she needed another blood sample to send for a better reading that needed to be sent to a lab in Tennessee! This lab was closed for over a week due to weather. Dr J did not have a backup plan for another lab so another week was wasted, meanwhile Ebony is worsening. At this point I became proactive, looking up other labs, calling other local vets. When I told office mgr this she became very upset, "fired" me, apparently meaning I and my cats were no longer welcome at which point I called her a *itch, she called me a *itch and told me I probably didn't like her because she is "black"! In other words, a racist! At this point I called another vet, Four Paws, who said they could see Ebony at 2:30 same day, would get records from Cats on Broadway. Shortly after, Four Paws contacted me to cancel the apptment upon hearing from Cats on Broadway! Managed to take Ebony into Pet Emergency Center who did everything that needed to be done. They were appalled that these two vets, Cats on Broadway and Four Paws, treated me so poorly while my kitty was near death. In closing, I might mention that Cats on Broadway, being the only cat-only vet around, does not have more, better technology, equipment to do a better job. Added note: Did not "scream" at anyone. Lie! Called office mgr. a *itch AFTER she "fired" me at which point she called me a *itch. Most unprofessional. Dr Jenny will continue losing customers because of her."
"Brought my girl here for a nail cut in 2022. Came out , they told me they cut her quick.. my girl was really upset.. and it's also possible she got held too tightly as she seemed sore. When I called, I was upset and said I would likely not come back and leave a review. I wound up deciding to not leave a review. My girl has had nail cuts before , and after the experience here with much more positive results. I just got back to Missoula and thought I would try them again, only to be put on hold with the aforementioned office manager (has other negative reviews) came on to basically remind me of what I said, then denied they ever did anything wrong since they "love kitties". And she wants to be sure I don't react that way again . She seemed incapable of understanding that I was rightfully upset. Never refused service, just kept on about what I had said.. then complained I didn't let her speak. Yet. She had nothing of matter to say.. except repeating herself about not wanting me to always complain. She also said me not leaving a review back then doesn't matter.. apparently they don't care if someone leaves a good or bad review. Well.. Here's a bad one. Terrible office manager. Probably should have politely just said they weren't going to provide service rather then admonishing me. I never cursed or sweared.. and my voice probably got louder as she kept complaining to me about how SHE was treated. Lol."
"Upset to say I haven't had the best experience of Cats on Broadway after so many positive referrals of this place. Dr. Jenny was wonderful in the one interaction I had with her. She was great with my cat and seemed knowledgeable. I also appreciated the follow-up calls after my cat's neuter to ensure he was doing well post-surgery. However, on my first visit for vaccines I was told that I needed to make a follow-up appointment shortly after for his booster. I specifically asked if I would need to pay for another exam. The vet ensured I would not need to if I came in within the correct time frame. When I returned on time for his boosters, they charged me for another exam. I told them that I specifically asked about this and was told I would not need to pay. The billing/receptionist told me I misunderstood and that im required to pay for the exam. I already had an appointment for his neuter and asked again if I would need to pay for a third exam within a month and a half time and I was told I would not. The day before the neuter, a receptionist called me to inform me on what services would be offered during his neuter and what I could opt-in for as well as information on pre-surgery instructions. I was told that when I came in the following morning to drop my cat off for his neuter I would have a receptionist go over these options and let me pick what services I would like to opt in/out of. When I arrived, the receptionist checked me in and took my cat without asking me what services I would like to opt in/out of, so I inquired with her, referencing the previous call. She apologized and told me she already saw my preferences on the computer so she thought I had already filled out paperwork. I'm glad I asked because I would have been paying for services I did not want and had previously asked to hold-off on until a later date. When I arrived to pick him up, they proceeded to tell me the charges and I asked for a breakdown before I paid. They included another exam. I told them they had told me twice now that wouldn't have to pay for it. With some back and forth, the receptionist said she would "waive the exam fee this time". I felt frustrated and bit like they were trying to take advantage of me. Today I received a phone call stating that a stool sample they required me to provide upon his most recent visit came back "normal" but that they forgot to charge me for it. I was never informed about this test being something I would be charged for separately, nor was I told it was optional. The singular test costs almost $50. All-in-all I find the communication to be lacking and I am frustrated that I've spent hundreds just on tests, exams and vaccines, not including the neuter, in just under 2 months. I've called around to other vets on their policies for exams/ return visits for boosting etc and they all informed me that they don't charge in this way. Dr. Jenny seemed great, and my cat seemed happy after pickups, but I feel hesitant to come back with the lack of consistency and communication from the other staff. I think they could improve in this area, because they feel a little scammy with their prices."
"So happy with the way they cared for my sweet kit here. Dr Jenny and her staff were SO calm and SO patient - lots of low voices and slow movements. The understood my cat, even if she didn't like them! And they knew that she was afraid, not "grumpy" or "tough". I've found that vets can be really funny about cats, and I felt like they really understood them and weren't afraid to actually touch and care for my cat!"
"I had my 7th month old baby girl kitty fixed there. They also gave her an overall check and gave her the vaccine that she needed. Extremely helpful kind and considerate . Only cats there which creates a more comfortable environment for the kitties and the older cats. I brought my older cat Guido who's 16 or 17 , and before you know it he's just walking around like he lives there. I always like it when they have an office cat. I think they are genuine cat lovers and gave really good care to my cats. They call and remind you, check up on your procedures and there is a place online that you can track your cats. I love this place !"
