"Although I enjoy shopping at the store, I am extremely disappointed in the service I got. The service is not even worth a part of a star. For quite some time now, I’ve been ordering dog treats in bulk for my dogs through Winco. About 50% of the time they would call me when they came in. I made a special order and explained to them I needed them on time as I was going to be having back surgery with a recovery of 8-12 months. The weeks came and went as I was preparing my home and auto bill pay so I wouldn’t have to deal with it while I was recovering. They never called. Two days after my surgery, they called me while I was in the hospital. They told me my order was in and I needed to come and pay and pick my order up. I informed them I was in the hospital and didn’t know when I was getting out. I had complications recovering. But asked them to put them in a corner somewhere and as soon as I got out of the hospital I have a driver swing me by and I would get the order. I was informed they couldn’t do that, that I could reorder them when I was able. No understanding, no sympathy, just monotone we can’t do that! I said thanks for your care and concern and hung up. I will never step one foot in that store again. And tell my story to all who will listen."

"Good place for a college student on a budget. The produce is better than Walmart, and cheaper too. The bulk section is a great place to get all the spices you need. Generally, I come here for all my shopping needs. The sales and specials are very hard to beat."
