"Omg it’s not just me. This is soo crazy. I thought I was going crazy. I’m definitely suing them in small claims court. I went to St. Marks Hospital to have surgery I had no freaking idea that they were going to use this companies services for my surgery. I had insurance through my work and I also had Medicaid. I thought everything was set. I thought the hospital had all my insurance information. 6 months down the line I get a text message with a bill saying I owe $1,250 for Milcreek anesthesia because Medicaid refused to pay. Medicaid was secondary my insurance with United was primary. I called them and gave them my insurance information again for them to file a claim and guess what?? They never filed a claim to United Insurance I thought they did and everything was set. Fast forward almost a year later I’m living my life normal. I check my credit I’m seeing that I’ve got a collection. I called them to find out apparently they sent the bill to collections because they claim that they didn’t have my insurance information that I provided twice in order for them to file a claim and Medicaid refused to pay. Of course Medicaid refused to pay because they’re secondary. Information for United Healthcare that I gave them was primary but they never filed a claim. So I call them again to provide my insurances information and they’re going to tell me that I need to give the collection agency my insurance information to file a claim on their behalf. Please make that make sense. So I called back the collection agency called Express Recovery they submitted the claim now United Healthcare is refusing to pay it because it’s past their cut off time. So now I’m responsible for it and it keeps adding interest to the balance I owe up to $1,350. I’m a single mom struggling enough with other bills and debt and they’re not making it easier out here for people and it’s totally unacceptable. Next time I go to the hospital I will make sure not to use their services. And I will be suing them because there’s no way a person who’s double covered should be paying a collection medical bill for a mistake that they made."
"We experienced an issue with the insurance billing process pertaining to my wife's back surgery. Despite providing them with our United Health Care information, the healthcare provider erroneously billed the services to the AARP default insurance. To our surprise, they have now engaged legal counsel and are pursuing legal action to recover what they claim to be an exorbitant amount. It is important to note that the responsibility for this error lies with the healthcare provider and not with my wife, as they failed to fulfill their duties appropriately"
"SUPER SHADY BILLING SYSTEM!!! Why a company has this kind of behavior? are they trying to hide something ? Trying to confirm the bill number is not being accepted in the phone system or website, when you call the billing number, there is a lot of loud noise with the agent, you can barely hear their voices. It does look like a Scam, and the worse the actual company staff seems to be hiding, the phone is disconnected, there is 0 info in their website, what the heck? Should I try to drive over there? do anybody has any info on this people? I called my insurance to at least confirm if they denied paying for that bill. But please Milcreek Anesthesia inc , help us here!!!"
"I paid my bill in full upon initial receipt. 3 months later I receive another bill with late charges, stating that I hadn't paid all of my initial bill. I reviewed my card charges and found that I had indeed paid my entire bill in full upon receipt. They had entered a smaller amount than actually paid through my card, then added finance charges. They don't answer their phone. Terrible financial end of this business."
"Charged finance fees even though they cashed my "PAID IN FULL" check within 3 weeks of the date of the bill. Their bill outlines the requirement for it to be paid within 4 weeks to avoid finance charges. Billing company doesn't return phone calls and states there are no managers on duty to take my call and that I just have to pay the finance fee. Horrible way to treat people!"
