Maison's Landing Apartments

"I was living in the first floor and there was a leak coming from the ceiling and I called maintenance to take care of it but it took them like 3 days to come look at it I even walked inside the office to make sure they got my request. It got to the point that it became an indoor pool in the living room, I had to use my kitchen trash can bucket to catch the water coming from the ceiling and it was dark yellow so I ended up moving out a month early because it was unlivable, and they charged me almost $1400.00 for damages."

"I only moved in a couple weeks ago and it's been great! I've met some kind people who live in the community. I haven't had any noise issues or complaints in general. The maintenance crew got through my work order within a day which was not expected. The leasing staff is nice and willing to help. So far so good!"

"Adding to my review. Move out process was not great, and they are charging us for things we never heard about. (over $100 for a pet treatment on top of regular and carpet cleaning fees.) I'll echo what I said below, worst place we ever lived. I would never suggest this place to anyone. Amenities have been closed for weeks at a time, and the dog washing station? Never been open for over a year. When we moved in, they made us wait 2 hours because the cleaning crew was still there, but when we walked in, there was dirt, spiders, mold, and hair all over everything. There was no washer and drier, and they never turned on our heater but we thought it was just taking forever to get warm. This was on Christmas Eve (with a baby)! Maintenance has always been rude, and told me that the mold all over our windows was just fly poop. It always smells like weed, we've had things stollen off our patio and front door at least once a month. Everyone smokes out on their balcony even though it's smoke free. The playgrounds are rusty and falling apart. People are getting cars stolen and broken into very often, and it doesn't feel very safe to be outside in our parking lot in the dark. There was a skunk and 2 raccoons living in the dumpster by our apartment, and trash everywhere outside and around the dumpster. Not to mention the amount of bugs and trash and dirt in the hallways. We were supposed to move into a specific unit, and they ignored all of our emails until the night before and let us know that it wasn't available. They only had 1 place we could move into on Christmas Eve, and they wouldn't do anything for the inconvenience it was to wait several days to move. We didn't have a place to stay because we moved out of our other apartment and they didn't care. Also, there are a lot of fees, and we didn't know about any of them until we signed a lease that they sent us the night before we moved in. There is almost nothing good about here. We are not renewing our lease and will tell everyone to avoid this place."

"After reading some of the comments below, I have to say something.. I have lived in these apartments for over 4 years now and I tell everyone that I know, that this is a great place to live! I have NEVER had any issues with the maintenance crew. They have always been prompt and friendly. It is a beautiful view from my windows. I've looked at other apartment complexs, but after looking at them.. I'll stay here."

"Maintenance here is a joke.! I have put multiple work orders to get my washer looked at. It has been over a month and nothing.! They completed the first work order without even coming to check it. I called for the second request and they said they would get someone to come over as soon a possible. Two weeks go by and nothing. I called again and was told “We will have someone check it out as soon as we can.” And another two weeks go by and still no one has came. I would not recommend this place for the insane cost of rent, poor maintenance, hidden fees. All of it is a joke and I cannot wait for my lease to be up. Do not live here."
