"My cat and I have lived at Cityscape for seven years. When I retired, stress-free city living appealed to me. These apartments were recommended by a friend who was very happy living here. I like that it is quiet, has security, garage parking, great location, friendly tenants, and a fabulous staff and maintenance who are quick to answer our needs and go above and beyond."
"I toured this complex last month and had a good experience while touring. I decided to apply as they were offering me 6 weeks free, waived application fee, and waived administrative fee. When I was trying to apply online, the website was charging me the application and administrative fees, but I was told to just pay those fees and it would be applied to my move-in costs. It took me a while to hear back about my application but I knew it was around the holidays so I understood. I received my lease and it did not mention anything about my waived fees nor my 6 weeks free and it had a strange prorated rate on the lease that didn't make sense. I reached out regarding the the discrepancies and they adjusted the lease so it mentioned the 6 weeks free and waived fees. However, they did not explain how the prorated rate was calculated. I reached back out and they sent me a welcome letter that was supposed to list all the costs and calculations. I received the welcome letter and it looked like it was put together last minute. The calculations were not making sense and there were random one-time fees for setting up the mandatory media package and for a garage remote. The lease did not mention any of those fees and now there were even more discrepancies between what I was told, the lease, and the welcome letter. It feels like they were just hoping I wouldn't thoroughly read through the information and just sign the lease. At this point, I was extremely frustrated with the process and it had almost been a month since I applied. With all the time they had, they could have at least spent some time making sure the lease and welcome letter reflected correctly. I let them know I was not moving forward with the lease and wanted the fees (that was supposed to be waived) refunded. They agreed to pay back the administrative fee but not the application fee. I know application fees are usually non-refundable but that's ridiculous since I was never supposed to pay it in the first place. If you're going to apply to this complex, make sure you do your due diligence."
"Corporate management isn't the best. They have taken away carts everyone used to bring groceries in because they thought it was trashy. They also removed vending machines for the same reason even though the residents liked them. The onsite management is great and always goes the extra mile to help. Maintenance will typically respond within a day which is excellent. Sadly the building is starting to show it's age so you will know all these nice folks by first name."
"I've been living here for 2.5 years now. The staff are so friendly and helpful, one even helped me jump my car the other day when it wouldn't start in the parking garage. The number of locked doors requiring a key fob make it feel very secure compared to older apartment buildings and it's not as pricey as the newer buildings in the area. The apartment itself is very energy efficient so my power and water bills are low, and considering the size of the apartments the layout is fantastic. I have 2 huge closets in the bedroom, a pantry, a closet with full sized washer and dryer, and a good quality dishwasher. My unit doesn't get direct sun but there are really nice big windows and the balconies are big enough to actually put a small table and a couple chairs."
"I have loved every day of my one year stay at cityscape apartments. Ashley is amazing, from the day I moved in to the day I moved out she has been very helpful. They also have fun community events like pancake breakfast, ice cream evening etc . They have great amenities too and needless to say the location is awesome close to downtown ✨ Just wanted to say thank you Ashley for everything ❤️"
