"I had my Kirby G-6 taken in for over all service and repair. There was a noise in the power drive system and needing new parts. I waited for a phone call on estimates. After 3 weeks of not hearing from them, I called to inquire. The owner told me he had been very busy and would get back in touch. 1 week later the owner called to inform me of the work to be done. I agreed to proceed forward. Approximately 3 months after taking the vacuum in, the owner called that it was finished. I picked it up a few days later. The repair bill was over $300.00. When we got the Kirby home, the noise was still very apparent in the power drive. I called to complain and was told that this was normal and they all make that noise. What a crock! I have spoken to 3 other vacuum shops and they tell me that the noise is not normal and that I really got ripped off. Since repairs, the vacuum has been used maybe 4 times in past months. It still does not work right after supposedly a major overhaul and over $300.00 out of my pocket. I would not recommend this vacuum shop at all. Poor service, high prices, and excuses galore. BEWARE!"

"My Kirby is a year older than my 31 year old daughter! It's a great vacuum! It's starting to be a bit heavy for me but I wouldn't trade it in for a lighter model unless it was a new Kirby. I have been using A-Z Vacuum for all those 32 years. He tunes it up, supplies the belts, bags, brushes, and cords. He changed it from no bag to a bag system. He updated that just a month ago. I am very happy with his work and attitude. It has always been ready when I requested it, but I always give him plenty of time. Repairs and tune ups can be expensive, but it's worth it to me to deal with a local, small businessman who cares about the quality of his work. Since I never go anywhere else, I don't know if his prices run cheap, expensive or the same as everyone else's. I recommend A - Z vacuum."
