"Had a salesperson stop by at my house. He was kind and understanding when I said 'no thanks,' and I do believe that Kirby vacuums do a good job, but no company should ever ask their salespeople to use these phrases: "This offer is good for today only, while we are in the area," and "My boss says if I can get three cleanings in a day, I can go home - can you help me out and let me clean anything?" Nothing will reveal the cheapness of your sales process faster than these kinds of statements. Rocky, don't go for the cheap sales or the emotional plea. Just sell good products and provide good support."

"I bought a kirby vacuum from this company because the salesman would not take no for an answer. I let them come in to do a 30 minute cleaning so they could go home for the night and it turned into a 3 hour cleaning of trying to sell me a $2,000 vacuum. After 3 hours and of wanting them to leave I gave in and bought it. However they have a 3 day return policy, I returned it on the second day. It took almost 1 month to get a refund after calling and texting multiple times."

"I generally don't mind when solicitors knock on my door. But, I do mind when they won't show their solicitor's license, won't leave when I ask them to get off my property, and I have to call the police. I've had Kirby salespeople knock on my door multiple times, and they're generally very friendly, even though I've never purchased from them (but maybe would one day if I had the disposable income for a $2000 vacuum). But, I had two from Rocky Mountain knock on my door tonight that were extremely unpleasant, unprofessional, and makes me want to never want to do any business with Kirby ever."

"Once we contacted them the owner was great about getting us our refund and apologized for it slipping through the cracks. Bought a kirby from this company's door to door sales guys, who were great (MJ was very funny). However we decided to utilize the return within three days option. (They give you a form that you can mail within 3 business days of purchase, I'd suggest certified mail. Utah code requires this for door to door sales, along withsome other laws.) MJ came and picked the kirby up, however the company still hasn't returned our money. It's been over 30 days and we are going to have to go through the process of chasing down our refund. Disappointing."
