"To be fair, I'll preface this by saying I called Carpenter during the holidays. Also a disclaimer that I was calling for performance improvement work, not because we were lacking heat. So admittedly, I was not calling for urgent services. But . . . I called because the furnace in the home we recently purchased hat a Carpenter sticker on it, so assumed the company had worked on it before. I initially got an incredibly quick response, and the gentleman I spoke to agreed to come to the house almost immediately. He came out, spent nearly an hour at our home discussing our goals and concerns, and said he would call ant the beginning of the following week to come back to begin addressing our heating system. Then, no call for three weeks. I wish that these type of failure to honor commitments, or at least call to reschedule, did not bother me so much. But they do. It's discourteous, and unprofessional. I'm not sure I will call back to reschedule the work . .. I give three stars because if the initial quick response and service. And because I am learning that the lack of follow through is, well, typical of our experience with contractors since we purchased the home."
