"I've been seeing Dr. Chen for over five years now and can say that he is unequivocally a world-class therapist. Before beginning treatment with Dr. Chen, my life was a mess in several areas due to my own self-sabotaging behaviors. Within a few short weeks of seeing Dr. Chen, I noticed a dramatic difference in my quality of life. He helped me recognize and address several key problem areas in my daily routine, and I benefited both personally and professionally as a result. I cannot thank him enough, and I give him my highest recommendation for others seeking to improve their lives."
"Dr. Chen is understanding and non-judgmental and this personality greatly impacts his therapy. Because of his experience, he is often very much "in touch" with solutions that can be powerful and effective, yet he is great at not forcing solutions upon anyone as he understands that everyone goes through their own personal journey in finding better ways of dealing with their issues. He's tactful, patient, and effective."
"Dr. Chen has helped me more than any other counselor or psychologist I have ever been to. I have seen 5 different counselors. 3 of which I felt that I knew more than they could offer me so I decided to not return. I would not be where I am without Dr. Chen, he has brought me to a place that I never thought possible and I don't think I could have done it on my own. In fact I know I would not be in the place I am now without him. He is extremely knowledgeable and has an immense amount of experience that other counselors do not have. He is kind and an amazing listener but also gives you the tools that are necessary to change your life. I cannot say enough great things about him. I would recommend him to anyone who is needing help or struggling."
"I have dealt with depression and social anxiety most of my adult life. I currently take an antidepressant which helps with dramatic mood swings but I wanted to make some real changes to my behavior that I thought was worsening my depression. Dr. Chen has practical suggestions that have helped me deal with depression and conflict resolution. I feel more assertive and more in control of my life since beginning therapy with him. In addition, he has helped me alter my spending habits and get on the path to being debt free."
"My husband went to this guy a few years back and I had one skype appointment with him and my husband together. He did far more harm than good and violated his ethics. He actually made a third party diagnosis of ME to his in-laws and told them I had borderline personality disorder. That wasn't true. I had called him on several occasions when my husband was in crisis and I was worried about his safety. He never followed up on my concerns or even talked to him about it. He just told my husband I must be "delusional". This man did not like me at all. I think it's because I told him I thought I knew what his diagnosis was and I really got the feeling he felt his toes were stepped on because I thought of it first. I found out I was right from a competent therapist some time later. I was only trying to help him. He told my husband everything was my fault and encouraged him to leave me. My husband got worse and it took a long time to undo the damage this man did both to my husband and our relationship."
