"Obviously not, everyone agrees with me however, my experience with AdvancedMD MD has been positive. I've been using Advanced MD for over six years now is a well integrated PM/EHR that provides all the software I need to run my solo medical practice efficiently. Although you can get the software à la cart, the full platform consists of practice management, reporting, patient portal, forms, faxing, scanning EHR, and E-prescribing and telemedicine. Also I like that the software is cloud based. I can access it from any device, anywhere that I have internet access."
"Broken portal with AdvancedMD = No new clients I attempted to set up an EHR with this company and at the end of the set-up, when I was ready to go live, I discovered that the portal did not work to connect prospective patients to me. I spent weeks trying to resolve this issue with the company and was told that it was my computer, my Internet, my firewall... I reported the issue of a broken portal multiple times to numerous IT and other AdvancedMD staff with no resolution to the issue. The portal only worked when I had 5 bars for Internet connectivity in a nearby city. As a telehealth provider, I expect many of my prospective patients to be living in rural environments without access to care and will likely also have imperfect Internet connectivity. Because of this serious defect in this EHR service, I canceled the contract with AdvancedMD and have found another EHR provider with a more robust portal. The company continued to bill monthly until the one year contract was up even though I was never able to go live because of the broken portal. I wasted thousands $$$."
"First off, the customer service representative who I called could not understand me and kept repeating the same questions. Second, I could not understand him. I kept telling him that my insurance company had not been billed and he kept saying that they had to call him. The insurance company cannot call when they have NO information on the claim as they have never been billed. Every time I tried to ask a question, he just repeated to call my insurance company. He did not try to help or understand and he could not or would not answer, all he could say was call my insurance company. And of course, all my poor insurance company could say is that they can't call about a claim they have never received. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced."
"Great Company and service provider, and excellent SaaS platform! We use the AdvancedMD medical billing platform and find it to be extremely user-friendly, very intuitive to use, and has every feature and functionality we could possibly want for medical practice end-to-end billing and A/R management! We especially love the automation features - really takes a lot of the heavy lifting off our plates! Lastly, I would remiss if I didn't mention the outstanding Customer Support - very friendly, knowledgeable, and perfectly professional!"
"Signed the contract and waited 2 weeks for training because the account manager they assigned to us was on vacation rather than assigning us another rep. This led to serious operational delays for our business. Once she returned from vacation the rep was very nice and we went through 2 trainings but she was not able to answer many of our questions and we realized the software was much more complex than we needed for our business and yet it still did not integrate with many other platforms we use so it wasn’t a good fit for us. They would not let us out of the contract and wanted us to pay thousands for a software we did not even use. It’s clear based on other reviews that money is more important than customer service. A disappointing experience all around."
