"Reserved a queen size bed. The bed was more a full/double size. Our hotel size pillows filled it from side to side with just 2 pillows across. Very non restful night sleep bumping into my partner all night if we moved more than 3 inches."

"Old and outdated rooms and decor. Stains on the carpet and coach, ripped wallpaper, unclean shower head. Poor soundproofing, disturbing noises at night. Sink water was either ice cold or scolding hot, with no in between. The bed was comfy and clean. No cafe or restaurant to serve food. The fitness center is a closet sized room with a treadmill, elliptical and bike, and a few weights up to 25lb. No yoga mats or cable machines. The location is close to the conference center and downtown which is convenient. My room has a nice view. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Great location to Salt Palace, Delta Center and Trax system. Rooms were a bit dated and had a stale "old" smell to them. I didn't need a fridge and microwave, but my room had them, and that would be a plus for some. Staff was very friendly, check-in and out was very easy. The lobby of this hotel is ICE COLD! Going downstairs for coffee in the morning to sit at a table, I had to run to my room for a coat. If you are looking for a free continental breakfast, they do not offer that. Parking is available, which we did use, and it is $10/day. Be prepared to leave a $100 deposit (refundable after stay). I will be checking on that, as other reviews have stated they had to fight for it. I left my room spotless, I better get it back. Oh, I need to mention that you better call first to see if they have fixed their problem with the boiler system. Everyone in the hotel took cold showers. No hot water in the hotel. I stayed there from Feb 14-16, 2024. I hope this helps both those looking for a hotel and the hotel itself to see that paying patrons like to have hot water while showering and it would be nice to pipe in some heat to the eating area of the lobby."

"Positive: 1. Location: The location is great, easily walkable to other points of interests in the city and the trolley/train station was right in front of the building. 2. Comfy bed. Negative: 1. Price: The price felt a little high considering the amenities available as well as the fact they charge for parking. The parking here was more expensive than any other place we parked in downtown during our stay. With that, I'll move to the next section 2. Crumbling Garage: The garage was metal posts everywhere to hold up the ceiling the 3rd floors and above were blocked off due to apparent disrepair. It did not sit well with me that they charged us for parking when the garage looked like it could fall apart at any time. 3. No hot water on day 2: On the second morning we woke up we didn't have any hot water. We called the front desk and were told it would be repaired today (02/14/2024) at some point. The front desk didn't reach out to let us know. Water was repaired the following day. 4. Dated decor and no amenities: The rooms all felt a bit dated, there was no accessible pool since they only had an outdoor one. The breakfast was paid, which at $110+ dollars a night felt a little cheap. 5. Heating and cooling system: The air conditioner was super finicky, sporadically jumping between hot, dry air to really cold seemingly no matter what setting it was on. Ultimately, we disabled it entirely in favor of no air conditioning."

"It would be a good idea to book elsewhere. We booked this hotel as a quick get away, in which we budgeted carefully. We got a smaller room and were initially happy with the price, until check in. They Charged an extra $100 deposit/damage fee without forewarning us. They stated we would get the $100 we didn't plan on spending back after the stay. And because we drove our own car, they informed us we would only get $80 back, to cover the surprise parking charges. The extra costs would have been fine had it been stated in our booking, but it was not mentioned. On top of this, the room was so gross. The Bathroom door made horrendously loud noises when opened. The shower made an even louder, peircing noise when in use. The curtains were badly stained and felt as if they were going to break when we tried opening them. The microwave came straight from the 90s (it was functional so that's nice)."
